On 25 March 2008, Marie will out-process from Los Angeles Air Force Base and fly to Dayton, Ohio to celebrate Paul's culmination as Master of Science in Cyber Operations. This will mark the beginning of when our time together will exceed our time apart! We'll spend a few days in Ohio before driving Paul's car to New York.
On 29 March 2008, Paul & Marie will fly from Syracuse, NY to LA, CA. From there we will begin our move across the country together!

 WOW. We are SO grateful for all of our family & friends who were with us both physically and spiritually this past week. We are so blessed and humbled to be surrounded by such amazing people. Time definitely flew faster than we imagined, but that's what happens when you're having fun.
We didn't get a chance to announce the response card winners at the reception, but here they are: 1. Father Kevin Rettig, 7. The Clinton Family, 77. Ed & Beth Mallari, 100. Al & Doring Diaz, 107. Herminia Gutana... your gifts are awaiting our next encounter. =)
Speaking of gifts, we have a ton of thank you cards to write in the next few weeks (maybe months). For now, we will say that we were so touched by all of the thoughtful letters, messages, cards & gifts that we received. We're pleased to announce that we received no more than 1 toaster and 1 blender =). We are so happy to have received so many items that we would've never thought to register for, but rather gifts that will last us a lifetime and constantly remind us of the genuine people who we are so fortunate to be acquainted with. As with the gift cards, our plan is to purchase something that reminds us of you. For the cash/checks, we are putting it in our savings towards our first goal: a house.
Finally, THANK YOU,  THANK YOU, THANK YOU for spending your time witnessing and celebrating our marriage with us. It most definitely would not have been the same without your company.

 Last weekend was a busy weekend. Marie was given a fun-filled and relaxing bridal shower on the 16th, then Paul's parents drove to LA for Father's day on the 17th. Our parents coincidentally match each other on most visits; can you tell who's who? It was fun spending time with each other and working on details for the big day. We are so excited to see everyone in 2 weeks! For now, here are some frequently asked questions and answers =)
Q: Where are your gift registries?
A: We are not registered. Anything that would make you happy would probably make us happy too. =)
Q: What should I wear to the wedding and reception?
A: Due to the time and locations, this is a formal event. The wedding party will be dressed in formal attire, but "Sunday best" or semi-formal is appropriate for all other guests.
Q: Where are you going on your honeymoon?
A: We will not be going on a honeymoon immediately following the wedding. Paul must return to class in Ohio, and Marie must return to work. We plan to go on a belated  honeymoon later in the year, and Paul is planning to surprise Marie =)
Q: Where are you going to live once you are married?
A: Once Paul graduates from Grad School in March 2008, Marie & Paul are most likely to be stationed together in Rome, New York. Keep in touch and we'll keep you posted =)

 The invitations have been sent! We had fun putting them together, together! Postage goes up next week, so don't forget to affix additional postage if you reply after the 14th. We'll have prizes for the 1st, 7th, 77th, 100th, and 107th cards received, so get your responses in--we've already received a handful, and have our 1st prize winner to be presented at the reception! (Can't make it? No worries--respondents need not be present to win) :) 2 months to go!!

 Happy 2007! We spent some time with our family in both Los Angeles and Las Vegas over the holiday break, and we were fortunate to ring in the New Year together. Today marks 1 year of our engagement and just under 6 months until the wedding. We couldn’t be more excited!

Hi! Last weekend we attended Catholic Engaged Encounter at St. Mary's Seminary in Santa Barbara, California. Throughout the retreat, we reaffirmed our shared values and discovered more about our goals as a couple. We feel ready and excited to partake in the Holy Sacrament of Matrimony, and we anxiously anticipate our lifelong commitment to our future family.
